What a fantastic celebration! 2025 marked a major milestone for Adnet Precision Engineering as we proudly celebrated our 35th anniversary. Since Adrian Day founded Adnet in 1990, we have grown from operating out of a garage into two Gloucester-based workshops. We celebrated this incredible achievement with our many partners, customers, and friends.
It was a lovely, slightly rainy Wednesday afternoon as everyone gathered at our new workshop space. We shared a timeline gallery showcasing our growth through the years, from our founding to where Adnet stands today, which became a wonderful centrepiece for the event. It offered visitors a glimpse into how our capabilities and technology have evolved over time, and everyone really enjoyed sinking into the history of Adnet. A huge thank you to PrintShrimp for bringing it to life!
And of course, a special thanks to Portway Farm and On The Hoof for providing the amazing food and drinks that made the day even more enjoyable. Everyone tucked into locally farmed burgers and hot dogs and grabbed a well-deserved coffee (or two!).
We were so pleased with the fantastic turnout, the positive feedback, and the great energy in the room. It was a real joy to celebrate this milestone together.
We also wanted to give visitors more than just a tour of our workshop. By placing bowls of components next to each machine, we showcased the variety of parts that can be produced, turning the tour into something more engaging, interactive, and hands-on. This simple yet tactile addition allowed visitors to see and feel the quality of our machining for themselves, sparking great conversations along the way. It was fantastic to share not only the story of Adnet but also the precision and craftsmanship that goes into every component we make.
Over the past three and a half decades, Adnet has built a reputation for delivering precision-engineered components across sectors including aerospace, automotive, and energy. None of this would be possible without our dedicated team- our remarkable engineers whose skill and commitment continue to drive Adnet forward.
Reflecting on the occasion, Managing Director Caroline Day said:

We are very proud of our journey so far and thankful to everyone who’s been a part of it. The support from our customers, partners, and suppliers over the years has meant everything.”
