CNC Turner Setter/Operator with Signing Bonus

About the Role

We require a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to assist in our busy turning section.

As CNC Turner Engineer, you have:

  • A time served machining apprenticeship.
  • Experience on Fanuc(G-Code) controls to assist in running our turning section while using sliding head, bar-feeding and chucking lathes.
  • Experience in setting mill/turn machines would be desirable..
  • Experience in programming would be advantageous.

Location: Gloucester, Easy access from M5.

Salary: £14.5-£18 per hour (Neg DOE).

Signing Bonus of £2000 + Quarterly bonus

33 days holiday including bank holidays

39 hour working week (7.30am – 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am – 3.00pm Fri) Overtime readily available.

The Candidate:

Qualifications: Time served apprentice at level 2 or 3, ONC or equivalent

Useful experience & knowledge:

  • Working within Sub-con precision machine shop.
  • Problem solving and innovation.
  • Willingness to help the team achieve good efficiencies.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
  • Work proactively.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing.
  • Programming experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Milling would be an advantage.
  • Experience working to ISO9001 standards.

Adnet are a professional Sub-Con precision machining company working within various sectors including aerospace, metrology, rheology, semi-conductor and oil & gas. Adnet have recently invested in new machinery that will offer a new and exciting challenge for new staff.

Adnet have been trading for 35 years, we have grown substantially in the last 12 months and require new staff to ensure we can support the expanding orderbook going forward.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.50-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
